Outgoing Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Đurić expressed today, in a conversation with Deputy Prime Minister of Hungary Zsolt Semjén satisfaction with the high level of strategic cooperation between the two countries and assessed that bilateral relations are probably at the highest level in history.

Đurić pointed out that there is ample room for further deepening cooperation between Serbia and Hungary in the economic, political and security fields.
The interlocutors expressed particular satisfaction with the way in which the Serbian community in Hungary and Hungary in Serbia are treated.
They also noted that the friendly relations between the two countries, in the new geopolitical circumstances, have acquired a strong practical dimension, as the citizens of both countries have concrete benefits from the ever-improving bilateral cooperation in various areas.
Đurić pointed out that Serbia and Hungary have a high level of agreement on many strategic issues, and said that on Serbia’s side there is a readiness to find common answers to some of the current and future challenges with its Hungarian friends.
