In a telephone conversation with Senior Bureau Official for the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs at the United States Department of State Louis Bono, Đurić stated that the current relations between Serbia and the United States are based on a positive agenda, characterised by an upward trend in political dialogue at all levels.
He also highlighted that the current relations are marked by the intensification of economic, investment and trade ties, alongside respect for historical relations and friendship between the two nations.
Speaking about the position of the Serb community in Kosovo and Metohija, Đurić stressed the importance of its protection, full security and right to a dignified life.
Serbia, he emphasised, is fully committed to contributing, in cooperation with international partners, to the creation of conditions for peace, stability and equality for all communities in Kosovo and Metohija.
