Assistant Minister of Agriculture for International Cooperation and European Integration Anja Javor met today with representatives of the World Bank to discuss the joint Serbia Competitive Agriculture Project (SCAP), which is being implemented from 2021 to 2024.

The meeting looked at the finalisation of the activities under the project, as well as a potential extension and additional financing for the period from 2025 to 2029.
During the meeting, it was pointed out that the Ministry remains committed to the successful implementation of all agreed activities under the Action Plan for extending the deadline for project implementation. This primarily refers to activities related to supporting the domestic food processing industry through co-financing of business plans to improve competitiveness, sustainability, innovation and digitisation.
