The Minister for Family Care and Demography and envoy of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, Milica Đurđević Stamenkovski, today laid a wreath at the place where King Alexander I Karađorđević was assassinated 90 years ago in Marseille.
Đurđević Stamenkovski pointed out that King Aleksandar I Karađorđević was an authentic defender of Europe, a creator of unification, gathering, and integration, both in the area where Serbian and other Yugoslav peoples lived, and outside them, within the framework of the Little Entente.
The minister emphasised that the Serbian people shared their national destiny with France at the time, and that was also the personal destiny of King Alexander I.
