President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić welcomed President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan today in front of the Palace of Serbia with the highest state honours.
The President of Türkiye’s ceremonial welcome featured the Guard of the Serbian Armed Forces, with the national anthems of Türkiye and Serbia played.
The delegation that welcomed the President of Türkiye included Prime Minister Miloš Vučević and Government of the Republic of Serbia ministers.
After the ceremonial welcome, a meeting of the two presidents is planned, to be followed by the fourth session of the High Council for Cooperation between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Türkiye, which will be chaired by the two presidents.
The ceremony of signing bilateral agreements in the presence of the presidents will be held after the session of the High Council, with Vučić and Erdoğan then scheduled to address the media.
Furthermore, the Serbia-Türkiye Business Forum will be organised at the Hyatt Hotel, which the two presidents will also attend.
The forum will bring together representatives of companies from the sectors of transport and infrastructure, energy, tourism, finance and the textile industry.
