Vučić expressed the hope that by the end of the year, the bilateral trade will reach €2.6 billion and added that the two countries are very successful in the exchange of services.
He noted that Turkish nationals lead tourist numbers in Serbia, adding that it is expected that by the end of the year, around 360,000 Serbian tourists will visit Türkiye.
The President of Serbia said that the fourth session of the High Council for Cooperation was held today and that numerous documents on cooperation between the two countries were signed, which are yet to produce results.
He expressed his gratitude to the Turkish investors who do business in Serbia, adding that the essence of all talks with the Turkish President is to preserve peace and stability in the region, because, as he pointed out, only in such circumstances is economic cooperation possible.
Erdoğan pointed out that during today’s bilateral talks, the path for the future of the relations between the two countries was laid, expressing his belief that there is ample space for their further improvement.
In the last two years, bilateral trade has reached $2 billion. Turkish investments in Serbia exceed $400 million, and Turkish companies employ about 9,600 people in the country, said Erdoğan, emphasising Vučić’s role in improving investment conditions.
