Prime Minister Miloš Vučević pointed out today, at the opening of the seventh China International Import Expo in Shanghai, that this event is a place of equal opportunities for development and business, friendship and understanding.
Vučević stated that he expects a successful performance of Serbia’s businesspeople at this largest Chinese import fair, which has brought together more than 40 organisations and about 3,500 exhibitors from more than 120 countries, including Serbia.
I am confident that our national pavilion will attract significant attention, he said, recalling that Serbia will host Specialised Expo 2027 Belgrade.
According to him, a message stronger than all commercial contracts is the message of good intentions. This fair was created as a noble idea of President of China Xi Jinping and is a meeting place for different companies, people and nations.
Serbia is represented at the fair this year by around 20 domestic companies, some of which already export their products to the Chinese market, including wineries and food and transport companies.
Vučević also said that Serbia is proud of the steel friendship that connects it with China, forged by the two Presidents – Aleksandar Vučić and Xi Jinping.
The Prime Minister of Serbia expressed the expectation that China will participate in Expo 2027 in Belgrade.
