Prime Minister Miloš Vučević met today with Secretary-General of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Mathias Cormann.
Vučević noted during the meeting that Serbia has a strong fiscal policy and public debt control, the largest foreign exchange reserves to date, a stable macroeconomic position and declining inflationary parameters.
The Prime Minister emphasised that creating the most favourable conditions for attracting foreign direct investments remains the number-one economic priority for the Government of the Republic of Serbia.
Vučević also noted that Serbia is investing significant resources and efforts in the field of science and technology development and investment promotion, which has resulted in progress in digitalisation.
He added that the country is committed to the development of new technologies that are being implemented at the Institute for Artificial Intelligence Research and Development of Serbia, based in Novi Sad, and the Data Centre in Kragujevac.
