Minister of Education Slavica Đukić-Dejanović spoke today with Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the State of Libya Omran M. A. Al-Geeb on the expansion of cooperation between the two countries in the field of higher education.

Đukić-Dejanović announced that an agreement in the field of higher education will be signed in the coming period, which will create conditions for more intensive cooperation between higher education institutions.
The Minister added that higher education in Serbia offers internationally recognised quality, especially in certain academic fields, as evidenced by the placement of the country’s universities on several prestigious university rankings.
The Libyan delegation also includes university rectors from the country. Earlier today, they discussed the possibilities of cooperation at a special meeting with peers from Serbian universities.
