Minister of Economy Adrijana Mesarović today attended the dispatch of the first container of Serbian products to China under the Free Trade Agreement between the two countries.

Mesarović noted that this achievement is the result of the hard work of Serbian businesspeople, institutions and Chinese partners, serving as further proof of the iron-clad friendship between China and Serbia.
She pointed out that in her conversations with representatives of dozens of retail chains, importers and distributors from China, she received a clear message that Serbian products are welcome in China.
Chinese Ambassador to Serbia Li Ming stated that Serbia has officially become China’s first free trade partner in Central and Eastern Europe thanks to the aforementioned agreement.
The Free Trade Agreement covers 10,412 Serbian products and 8,930 Chinese products.
