Joksimovic said in a statement to Tanjug news agency that good and open bilateral relations can overcome some outstanding issues and occasional problems.
She pointed out that this can be best seen on the example of the migrant crisis, when the representatives of the two countries sat down and talked as good neighbours and partners.
I think that Hungary is a good partner. They actively support us on the path of European integration and contribute to stability in the region, said the Minister.
Hungary is also important for Serbia as it is actively involved in infrastructure development in the region, she said.
One of the most important projects for us is the railway Belgrade-Budapest, said Joksimovic.
She also recalled that the two countries have a number of cross-border cooperation projects and that we cooperate in the field of minority rights.
Joksimovic is participating in a two-day meeting of foreign ministers of the Visegrad Group and Western Balkans, the focus of which is EU enlargement, the progress report and migrations.
