Ground for Serbia’s progress set

Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic stated yesterday that in the year that is drawing to an end, a solid ground for further development of our country has been set, adding that this has been a year of hard work and good results.

In an interview with television “Prva”, Vucic said that Serbia is determined on its path towards the European Union, and pointed out that in the coming years it will approach more and more rapidly to developed countries of the Union.
The Prime Minister wished the citizens of Serbia to be hardworking and believe in themselves and their country, adding that the progress of our country depends only on our commitment and energy.
He highlighted as great successes the reduction of deficit and unemployment, and the opening of the first chapters in the negotiations with the European Union.

In this context, the Prime Minister said that Serbia has committed itself to implementing tough reforms and improving norms and standards and added that Serbia will continue to work hard to achieve that.
