In an interview with German daily "Die Zeit", Vucic said he fully supports the policy which German Chancellor Angela Merkel has towards refugees, who holds European values high and is searching for a European solution.
There is no alternative to the policy she is conducting, he said and added that a comprehensive European solution, to which the German Chancellor aspires, is difficult to achieve because not everyone is on the same side, which is necessary in order to reach agreement.
Responding to the question whether the refugee crisis could destabilise countries of the Western Balkans, the Prime Minister said he is always concerned about stability in the region, noting that Angela Merkel has contributed largely to the peace in this region.
Vucic recalled that the Balkans was and remains a complex region, in which the First World War broke out, which must not be forgotten, and a possibility of destabilisation should always be kept in mind.
