Prime Minister Ana Brnabic attended today in Subotica a tactical-technical display of weapons and military equipment and the “Community policing“ operation, organised by the Ministry of Defence and Ministry of the Interior respectively.
The events were held in Subotica as part of marking one year of work of the Serbian government, and the display of weapons and the equipment was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Nebojsa Stefanovic and Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin.
Brnabic, Stefanovic and Vulin expressed their gratitude to Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic for his support and encouragement to invest in security services.
The Prime Minister said that the authorities raised the level of security services in a relatively short period of time, and reiterated that cheaper apartments will be built for members of the security sector.
She said that young couples can expect the same, if the system proves to be successful.
We still have a lot of work to do to lift Serbia, Brnabic said, adding that the ministers today in Subotica present the results of the first year of work of the current government.
Stefanovic said that police are always there for the citizens and that he is proud of the work of the government.
Vulin pointed out that the army and police make a single system.
President of the Provincial government Igor Mirovic estimated that the Serbian government has achieved concrete results and announced the signing of a commercial contract for the construction of a fast track rail from Subotica to Novi Sad.
