Prime Minister Miloš Vučević stated today, on the 26th anniversary of the start of the NATO bombing of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, that Serbia preserves the memory of all those who bravely defended our country and gave their lives for freedom and for the future of our children.

Vučević recalled that on 24 March 1999, 19 of the world’s most powerful countries attacked Serbia, violating international law and the decisions of the United Nations Security Council.
For the next 78 days, they destroyed our homeland, killed our children and demolished bridges, factories, schools, hospitals and media outlets, he pointed out.
The Prime Minister emphasised that the NATO crime has remained unpunished to this day, stressing that we are a nation that does not forget its victims or its history.
Vučević highlighted that Serbia today pursues a policy aimed at resolving all issues peacefully, safeguarding peace and stability and striving to ensure that the crimes committed against our people and our homeland are never repeated.
