Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said today after meeting with Republika Srpska President Zeljka Cvijanovic that relations between Serbia and Republika Srpska are natural and logical and are not directed against anyone.
Brnabic told the press conference after the meeting that Serbia has good relations with the Federation of BiH, but that the problem is that the Council of Ministers has not yet been formed after the elections.
At this moment, there are no legitimate representatives, but they function in a technical mandate, she explained.
She responded to the question about the Bratoljub bridge linking Ljubovija and Bratunac, recalling that there was a clear agreement that Serbia would build the bridge, Republika Srpska access roads, while the Federation of BiH would approve and set border crossings.
As she added, she also requested from EU Commissioner for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn to help this border crossing open.
Cvijanovic commented that it is incomparably easier for her to communicate with the institutions of Serbia that with those of BiH.
