Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Tatjana Matic stated today that the drafting of the Guide for e-traders completes the complex process of encouraging the development of electronic commerce.
At the online conference on the occasion of the presentation of that publication, Matic stated that this process implies strengthening regulations, raising consumer confidence and educating and empowering traders.
Matic stated that the number of realised dinar electronic transactions in Serbia increased from RSD 7 million in 2019 to RSD 14.3 million in 2020.
The Minister mentioned that the mentioned guide was published by the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications in cooperation with USAID and the E-Commerce Association of Serbia on the pametnoibezbedno.gov.rs portal.
