The National Bank of Serbia (NBS) announced that with today's plenary meeting in this institution, the official talks of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission with the delegation of the Republic of Serbia began.
The talks are being held as part of the third review of the results of the implementation of the agreed economic program, supported by the advisory, non-financial 30-month Policy Coordination Instrument (PCI), which the International Monetary Fund approved for our country in June 2021.
The delegation of the Republic of Serbia is led by Jorgovanka Tabakovic, Governor of the National Bank of Serbia and Governor of the Republic of Serbia at the International Monetary Fund.
Current monetary, fiscal and macroeconomic developments will be discussed at the meetings during the International Monetary Fund mission, which will last until 4 November.
Also, the implementation of the agreed economic program will be considered, as well as the modalities of future cooperation with this institution.
The second review of the implementation of the economic program was completed in June this year, when the Board of Executive Directors of the International Monetary Fund made a decision on its successful completion, according to the announcement.
