The Prime Minister noted that two weeks ago US Ambassador in Belgrade Christopher Hill and President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic opened the representative office of one of the largest companies for electric vehicles, Rivian, and that the IBM development centre is now opening.

General Manager of IBM for Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia and Albania Nikola Polic noted that software will be developed in the company's office in Novi Sad.

Mayor of Novi Sad Milan Djuric pointed out that the city is recognised as the centre of IT industry.
In Novi Sad, we have almost 900 IT companies employing ten thousand people. I wish to thank Prime Minister Brnabic for bringing us such important investors. We want IBM to feel at home in Novi Sad, he said.
At the moment, 38 engineers are employed in the IBM office in Novi Sad, jobs for another 38 are announced, who will be young experts who graduated from the University of Novi Sad.
