I was in Zagreb only 48 hours ago, I hope we will continue to develop relations in this way and prosperous Balkans for all our businessmen in the coming weeks, Brnabic stated at the official opening of the Business Fair in Mostar.
The Prime Minister pointed out that over the last 10 years economic exchange between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia doubled.
According to her, the market of Bosnia and Herzegovina is important for Serbia. Bosnia and Herzegovina is the second largest export partner, Germany is the first, whereas Serbia is the third largest export partner of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
These parameters alone show how important we are to each other. I invite Bosnia and Herzegovina to join the Open Balkans Initiative, the initiative on opening borders, Brnabic reiterated.
She underlined that Serbia is taking part in this fair for the sixth consecutive year.
A delegation of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce is also in Mostar, and there are 14 exhibitors at Serbia’s stand.
Before the opening of the fair, Brnabic met with Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dragan Covic and Chair of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Borjana Kristo.
We continue to improve cooperation for the sake of our regional prosperity, the Prime Minster wrote on her Twitter account after the meeting with Covic.
Brnabic and Kristo discussed regional trade cooperation, joint work on economic potentials and infrastructure connection in order to further develop the two countries.
