Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Sinisa Mali is taking part in the annual assembly of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Marrakesh, Morocco.
After the meeting with IMF Vice President Bo Li, he said that the topic of discussion was the reforms implemented by Serbia, as well as the still valid stand-by arrangement with the IMF.
The IMF Mission is coming to Belgrade next Thursday and will stay for two weeks to see what we have done in terms of the goals we have defined and what is our plan for the future, he said.
Today, Mali also met with Vice President of the World Bank Antonella Bassani and pointed out that this financial institution currently has projects worth €4.5 billion in Serbia in the field of education, road and railway infrastructure.
During the two-day meeting, Mali will talk with the largest financiers and investors, including Director of the IMF's European Department Alfred Kammer, representatives of BNP Paribas Bank, the Saudi Development Fund, Deutsche Bank and investment funds, to whom he will present Serbia's current projects and potentials for new investments.
During his stay in Marrakesh until 12 October, the Deputy Prime Minister will participate in a round table with investors from all over the world, who invest in bonds of the Republic of Serbia, and present to them the achieved results, macroeconomic indicators etc.
