Polling stations at which citizens voted in parliamentary, provincial and local elections for 65 municipalities and cities, including Belgrade, were closed at 8 p.m. tonight.
Elections were organised at 8,273 polling stations, and anyone who was at a polling station at 8 p.m. had the right to vote.
6,500,666 voters were registered in the voter list, and according to the data of the Election Commission, the turnout by 6 pm is 51.93 percent.
With the closing of the polling stations, the election silence ended.
Election Commission President Vladimir Dimitrijevic said that first the ballot boxes will be opened and the votes will be counted for the parliamentary elections first, and then for the provincial and local elections.
Dimitrijevic said that the election results can be followed live on the screens in the hall of the Election Commission and on its webpage.
