Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Milos Vucevic met today with representatives of the American Jewish Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), led by the president of that organization, Michael Tuchin.
On that occasion, Vucevic pointed out that Serbia highly values cooperation with the USA and that it continues the process of improving bilateral military cooperation with this country.
He said that Serbia continues to be a responsible and credible partner, as well as that, in accordance with its clear political commitment, it will remain a militarily neutral state.
The Deputy Prime Minister emphasised that the security situation in Kosovo and Metohija is complex and that many irrational decisions of the Pristina authorities and their constant use of force mechanisms contribute to the deterioration of the security situation.
As he said, Serbia is committed to the peaceful resolution of all issues through talks with Pristina and full respect for UN Security Council Resolution 1244 and the Military Technical Agreement.
Representatives of the American-Jewish Public Affairs Committee expressed the hope that cooperation with our country will rise to a higher level in all areas of mutual interest.
