First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic met today with Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Integration and Francophone Affairs of the Central African Republic Sylvie Baïpo-Temon, who is staying in Belgrade as part of a delegation led by the President of that country, Faustin-Archange Touadéra.

During the talks, it was stated that the two countries are bound by traditional friendship, which needs to be strengthened by joint forces, especially in light of the fact that in 2025 we will mark 65 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
The head of Serbian diplomacy expressed deep gratitude to the Central African Republic for its support to the territorial integrity of the Republic of Serbia.
Temon informed Dacic about the current situation in her country and the region.
Also, she introduced him to the potential for the development of bilateral cooperation in the fields of energy, mining and agriculture, and invited companies from Serbia to consider the possibility of investing in the Central African Republic.
During the cordial conversation, both sides expressed their willingness to strengthen cooperation in all areas of common interest, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
