President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić this evening at the Nikola Tesla Airport in Belgrade welcomed President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping, who will be on a two-day visit to our country.
The Chinese President was also welcomed by Prime Minister Miloš Vučević, Speaker of the National Assembly Ana Brnabić, Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Đurić, as well as former President of Serbia and President of the National Council for Coordination of Cooperation with the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China Tomislav Nikolić.
The delegation included Ambassador of Serbia to the People's Republic of China Maja Stefanović, as well as Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Serbia Li Ming.
The aircraft of the Chinese President was escorted to the Nikola Tesla Airport through Serbia’s airspace by MiG-29 fighters of the Serbian Armed Forces, and a guard of the Serbian Armed Forces was lined up in his honor at the Belgrade airport.
In honour of the Chinese President, "Kolo" performed two folk performances.
