At today's session, the government of the Republic of Serbia adopted the Decree on the establishment of the Office for Public and Cultural Diplomacy in order to further promote state interests to the domestic and foreign public through the presentation of national values and goals.

Decree on establishment of Office for Public and Cultural Diplomacy adopted

The Office will aim to contribute to a better flow of information, and will perform professional tasks for the needs of the government, and will also participate in organizing, implementing and supporting activities in order to present Serbian culture, history, spirituality, art, language, science and sports to the world.
Members of the government accepted the Report on the need to build the necessary gas pipeline facilities in order to ensure the supply of natural gas to existing and future consumers in the territory of the City of Novi Sad and to increase the security of natural gas supply in that area.
The adopted Conclusion recommends the Public Company Srbijagas Novi Sad, to undertake all necessary activities in order to build the gas pipeline facility.
At the session, agreements and memoranda of understanding between the government of the Republic of Serbia and the government of the Republic of Gabon in the field of defence and sports were adopted, as well as a Conclusion of Agreement to conclude a Memorandum of Understanding between the Committee for Science and Technology of the Beijing City Administration, the Administrative Committee of the Zhongguancun Science Park, which is better known as Z Park, Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation of the Republic of Serbia and BIO4 campus.
The Government also adopted the Conclusion on the authorisation to conduct negotiations for the purpose of concluding an agreement between the government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of Japan on mutual encouragement and protection of investments.
