Government adopts several documents on cooperation with government of Republika Srpska

At today’s session, the government of the Republic of Serbia adopted several documents – memoranda of understanding on cooperation and protocols between the government of Serbia and the government of the Republika Srpska in various fields, including culture, education, agriculture, trade, tourism, family care and diaspora.

In order to prevent and protect employees in health institutions, in connection with the work they perform, the government proposed at today’s session that a special criminal offense and special penalties for assaulting employees in health institutions be prescribed in the Criminal Code.

Members of the government also passed a Decision on the issue of long-term government securities on the international financial market within the updated GMTN programme (Global Medium Term Notes Programme).

The government of Serbia also adopted decisions on the number of students financed from the budget on undergraduate, integrated, master and doctoral studies for the academic year 2024/25.

At the session, the Decree was adopted on establishing the annual Programme of measures for the implementation of the breeding program for the year 2024, the aim of which is to improve livestock production and genetic quality in livestock breeding.

The members of the Government adopted decisions on the awarding of monetary awards for the results and the silver and bronze medals won in the Olympic sports disciplines in judo and taekwondo in the amount of €15,000 for a silver medal and €10,000 for a bronze medal in dinar equivalent value.

At the session, the Decision on giving consent to the Decision on the establishment of cooperation between the city of Užice, Republic of Serbia and the city of Banjaluka, Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina was adopted, especially in the areas of cultural and historical heritage, economy, science, education, sports, tourism, ecology, economy, programme to facilitate mutual visits of businessmen, investors, athletes, tourists, youth.
