At today's meeting, the government of the Republic of Serbia adopted the Decree on the mandatory production and sale of bread made from "T-500" flour, which prescribes the maximum retail price in the amount of RSD 54, i.e., the producer price of RSD 46.31.

The government also made a decision on the intervention sale of 64,000 tons of wheat flour to producers who make bread from this type of flour, in order to further mitigate the negative consequences for producers.
At the session, the Decree on limiting the price of basic foodstuffs was adopted and amended in order to protect the market, i.e., to prevent distortions in the formation of commodity prices, which are extremely important for the supply of consumers, especially the poorer social categories.
When it comes to consumers, given that the Decree on limiting the price of basic foodstuffs is in force, these changes will not affect the increase in personal consumption costs.
