Minister of European Integration Tanja Miščević today held talks with Hungarian Minister for European Union Affairs János Bóka on the priorities of the country's EU Council presidency, expected in the second half of this year, as well as on Serbia's accession to the European Union.

Miščević expressed gratitude to Bóka for Hungary's continuous support for Serbia's European path and emphasised that the reform processes in our country will continue towards meeting the conditions for EU membership.
She reiterated that Serbia is ready to seize the new momentum, particularly highlighting the importance of the Growth Plan and Reform Agenda as a set of priority measures in this process.
The minister added that while we await the European Commission's green light for opening cluster 3, which is well prepared, we are working on meeting the transitional criteria for opening cluster 2.
Bóka presented the key priorities of Hungary during its EU presidency, particularly emphasizing the area of enlargement policy, as well as the fact that Serbia has a reliable ally in Hungary.
