Vučević assessed that the political relations between Serbia and Spain are at a high level, thanks to the intensity of the political dialogue and support regarding the important national interests of our countries.
The Prime Minister expressed concern about the current situation in Kosovo and Metohija and thanked Spain for its principled position on not recognizing the unilaterally declared independence of "Kosovo".
He expressed dissatisfaction with Spain's determination to support the Resolution on Srebrenica in the UN General Assembly, stressing that this attitude does not contribute to reconciliation and strengthening of good relations in the region.
Vučević stated that a large number of Spanish companies operate in Serbia, adding that the government of Serbia is determined to provide support for new investments from this country.
The Ambassador of Spain confirmed that this country will not change its position on the issue of Kosovo and Metohija and that it will continue to provide support in protecting the state and national interests of Serbia, in order to respect international law, territorial integrity and sovereignty of our states.
