"I strongly condemn the attempt to assassinate the 45th president of the USA, Donald Trump. Violence cannot and must not have a place in politics. Together, we must resist anyone who thinks that they can make decisions with a bullet, instead of a ballot.
Democracy must be defended, and human life inviolable," Vučević said and wished Trump, who was injured in the assassination attempt, a speedy recovery.
