In the presence of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, the Free Trade Agreement between the two countries and 10 other bilateral documents on cooperation in various fields were signed today in Cairo.
The Free Trade Agreement was signed by Minister of Domestic and Foreign Trade Tomislav Momirović and Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade of Egypt Hasan Al Khatib.
Vučić, at a joint press conference with the President of Egypt after signing these documents, stated that the Free Trade Agreement is extremely important and that a total of 10,412 tariff lines for Serbia and 6,075 tariff lines for Egypt have been signed.
This means that we will develop our trade relations faster, as well as the relations between our industries, and I am convinced that in the future we will be able to achieve much more than in the previous period, the President of Serbia said.
