Prime Minister Miloš Vučević spoke today with parents from the Bačka Palanka Municipal Society for Helping Mentally Underdeveloped Persons about solving the problem of building a day care centre for children with developmental disabilities in Bačka Palanka.

Vučević pointed out at the meeting that the members of his cabinet will help this project and that the Prime Minister's advisor will visit the Municipality and the construction site next week, in order to ensure that the building is completed in accordance with the planned dynamics.
Also, in agreement with the competent provincial institutions, the possibility of providing children with a stay at the Gerontological Centre in Bačka Palanka as soon as possible will be considered, as a temporary solution until the construction of a day care center for children with developmental disabilities in this place.
As Vučević pointed out, the government of Serbia will also help in issuing the necessary permits for a new facility and licensing a day care centre for children with developmental disabilities.
