The Prime Minister emphasised that Serbia is firmly committed to deepening relations with China and joint projects that contribute to economic development and the well-being of the citizens of both countries.
Vučević said that our country is committed to working on activities and plans that lead to the achievement of that goal and raising relations to a higher level.
The Prime Minister emphasized that the Free Trade Agreement between the two countries, which has been in force since July 1 this year, is another important step that strengthens cooperation and added that another direct airline between Serbia and China will be established by the end of September. .
He also expressed gratitude for the opportunity for pupils and students from Serbia to stay in China as part of the International Youth Cultural Exchange program, assessing that this is the best way to continue the tradition of fostering steely friendship between our two countries.
Also, the Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to China for its support and respect for Serbia's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
He expressed readiness for additional institutional strengthening of cooperation and exchange of experiences on the development and improvement of top sports, sports infrastructure and sports tourism.
Shen Yiqin conveyed the greetings of the Premier of China, pointing out that Serbia is on the path of general rapid progress, on which it has the unequivocal support of China.
She said that China will support the upcoming organization of the EXPO 2027 exhibition, in which delegations from that country will participate.
After the meeting, Vučević attended the signing of the Memorandum on cooperation in the field of sports – basketball, football and volleyball, signed by Minister of Sport Zoran Gajić and Minister of the General Administration of Sports of China Gao Zhidan.
