The Ministry of Culture and the State Archives of Serbia inform the international and domestic public that archival materials belonging to the archive fund of the Republic of Serbia are being forcibly removed from Leposavić.

With that action, the "Kosovo" police commit violence against the cultural property of the Republic of Serbia, and given that archival materials were always stolen and taken away during the occupations (World War I, World War II), the latest violence by the "Kosovo" police evokes the memory of such vandalism.
When archival material is handled outside of the procedures stipulated by international archival standards and laws in all countries, it is called robbery, the announcement states.
