At the opening of the event, organised by the Union of Serbs of Romania, Selaković said that the complete culture of the Serbian people is impossible to imagine without the contribution of Serbs from Romania.
The Minister of Culture pointed to the closeness and good-neighbourly relations of the two nations, citing the Romanian saying that Romania has two friends and two allies – the Black Sea and Serbia.
