The two officials concluded that the good cooperation between the two countries in internal affairs at the strategic and operational level – especially in the protection of the common border and the suppression of irregular migration and cross-border crime – is in the interest of the security of the region and the EU. They expressed their commitment to advocating that it be further improved.
