Minister of Culture Nikola Selaković today oversaw the signing of a contract for the reconstruction and adaptation of the old railway station building on Savski Square in Belgrade, which will become the new home for the Historical Museum of Serbia.
During the ceremony, Selaković said that the Historical Museum of Serbia has so far only used the Residence of Prince Miloš in Belgrade’s Topčider neighbourhood for its permanent exhibition.
The minister expressed confidence that the Historical Museum of Serbia will hold a ceremony in early 2027 to unveil its new space and showcase the rich cultural and historical heritage in its collections to all participants in Specialised Expo 2027 Belgrade.
