Director of the Office for Public and Cultural Diplomacy Arnaud Guyon and film director Kosta Đorđević opened last night the four-day Serbian Film Festival DC 2024 in Washington, D.C.
Speaking at the prestigious American Film Institute, Guyon said that the festival, featuring films translated into English, will allow Americans to explore Serbian culture and cinema.
The opening night featured Đorđević’s film “Sweet Sorrow”, which drew a large audience, including representatives from the diplomatic corps and officials from the District of Columbia.
Organised by the Orfelin Circle, the festival will feature six more productions, along with numerous panels and discussions, providing opportunities for attendees to engage with film makers.
