Prime Minister Miloš Vučević met today with Kosjerić Municipality President Žarko Đokić to discuss problems and challenges that local citizens face and new projects to be implemented with the support of the Serbian government in the coming period.
Vučević, who visited Kosjerić together with Minister for Public Investment Darko Glišić, announced that the road connecting Kosjerić and Požega will be reconstructed, and that the municipality will be connected to the Miloš Veliki motorway, which will significantly ease the lives of citizens and boost economic activity.
The Prime Minister said that the Mito Igumanović elementary school, which is currently attended by 524 students, will be completely reconstructed, adding that local roads were also discussed at the meeting with the Municipality President, including the road to Bajina Bašta.
Glišić pointed out that a water supply project worth RSD 80 million will also be implemented in the coming period, expressing his gratitude to the Prime Minister for his support and the fact that RSD 480 million is being invested in the municipality of Kosjerić.
We will complete the reconstruction of 14 streets and replace the installations to resolve problems with water shortages. The work is planned for the first days of the construction season, while completion is expected by the summer, the Minister specified.
