Prime Minister Miloš Vučević talked today with Prime Minister of Tuvalu Feleti Teo about bilateral relations and opportunities for cooperation with this country.
Vučević pointed out that, regardless of different geographical and economic conditions, the two countries can achieve cooperation in numerous fields on the basis of established diplomatic relations.
The Prime Minister emphasised that, bearing in mind that this country is known for its rich cultural tradition and natural resources, there is potential for various areas of cooperation, such as tourism, education, and cultural exchange.
The Prime Minister of Tuvalu assessed that the cooperation between Serbia and Tuvalu, within the framework of climate change, is an example of international cooperation in the fight against this challenge.
Vučević appealed to the guests from Tuvalu to consider Serbia's request to withdraw the decision to recognise the unilaterally declared independence of the southern Serbian province of Kosovo and Metohija.
