Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dačić met today with Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister Serik Jumanğarin, pointing out the good police cooperation between the two countries, with the assessment that there is room for further improvement, especially in areas of fight against organised crime.

Dačić expressed his gratitude to Jumanğarin for his political support in preserving the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia, especially for the principled position of Kazakhstan regarding the non-recognition of the unilaterally declared independence of the so-called Kosovo.
The officials agreed that there is room for the expansion of bilateral economic cooperation, that is, the further expansion of trade, economic and investment ties between Serbia and Kazakhstan.
