Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dačić stated that one person was arrested in Novi Pazar on reasonable suspicion of committing the crime of public incitement to commit terrorist acts.
Dačić said that N. А. (1987) was arrested, who previously administered Facebook accounts from which calls for jihad were shared publicly, as well as photos and videos with ISIL insignia, in which ISIL members are glorified, as well as their suicide attacks.
The Deputy Prime Minister said that the same account contained posts glorifying the attack and the attacker on the police officer in front of the Embassy of Israel in Belgrade.
He said that during the search of the suspect’s apartment, devices were found which were presumably used for administering the aforementioned Facebook accounts.
