Serbia, Egypt committed to further strengthening cooperation in ICT

The officials expressed satisfaction with the cooperation so far and emphasised the mutual commitment to further improve it through joint initiatives.
Ristić informed his interlocutor about the continuous accelerated growth that Serbia is achieving in the ICT sector.
The Minister also presented the favourable legislative and institutional environment that Serbia has built over the years and which provides strong support for the continuous and accelerated development of the ICT sector.
During the meeting, an agreement was reached on the exchange of knowledge and experience regarding the introduction of the 5G network at the national level, encouraging the expansion of cooperation, both between the two ministries and between scientific and educational institutions, as well as business and other entities in the field of telecommunications and information technologies, with a special emphasis on further development of the information society and information security.
