President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić today told domestic businesspeople interested in exporting and investing in Equatorial Guinea that the state will provide them with absolute assistance in this regard, because this is in Serbia’s interest too.

Improving economic relations between Serbia, Equatorial Guinea

Speaking at the round table "Serbia and Equatorial Guinea - Partnership for the Future", held as part of the official visit of President of Equatorial Guinea Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo to Serbia, Vučić emphasised that Serbia is currently Europe’s second fastest-growing economy.
He said that Serbia will provide support to Equatorial Guinea in terms of agriculture, but also in the admission of students to our higher education institutions.
Vučić also emphasised that Serbia could provide significant support to Equatorial Guinea in the IT sector and software industry.
Furthermore, he highlighted the importance of the formation of a mixed committee and a visit of Serbian minister of economy and minister of agriculture, forestry and water management to Equatorial Guinea.
The President of Equatorial Guinea assessed that the implementation of the Serbian economic development model would contribute to Equatorial Guinea’s development, creating new jobs for women and youth.
