Prime Minister Miloš Vučević said today in Trebinje that Serbia and Republika Srpska will continue to work together on the development of several projects on the territory of the entire Republika Srpska.
After a meeting with President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik, Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Radovan Višković and the leadership of the city of Trebinje, Vučević emphasised that the Republic of Serbia and Republika Srpska have a constructive approach and are engaged in building, connecting and solving problems.
Speaking about the projects in Trebinje that are financially supported by the Serbian government, the Prime Minister announced that the continuation of the renovation of the Old Town will be completed by the beginning of spring next year, and pointed out that such projects will make the city of Trebinje even more attractive for tourists.
In that whole story, the Trebinje airport project completes the tourist offer of Trebinje and Herzegovina and I believe that we will complete it, said the Prime Minister and announced the further connecting of Serbia and Srpska.
Everything we do together is for the benefit of all citizens from this area. It is not a road, an airport, a bridge, a square that belongs to only one nation or religion, but belongs to all people of good will, Vučević pointed out.
He also assessed that work must be done more quickly on the construction of a joint memorial complex in Donja Gradina and Belgrade, planned for the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Jasenovac camp, stating that this is the chance of this generation.
The Serbian Prime Minister reiterated that all these projects are the essence of the Declaration of the All-Serb Assembly, which is to connect and create better conditions for the lives of citizens on both sides of the Drina.
He added that Serbia's proposal is for Srpska to make an integral proposal for three-year investments for municipalities in Republika Srpska.
