Minister of Culture Nikola Selaković, who heads the government’s delegation at the session of the Mixed Commission of Serbia and Gabon in Libreville, met today with Gabonese Prime Minister Raymond Ndong Sima and Minister for Institutional Reform and Co-Chair of the Commission Murielle Minkoue Mezui Mintsa-Mi-Owono.

Selaković assessed that the session of the Mixed Commission represents an important point in the recent history of the two countries, an opportunity to analyse existing economic cooperation, and an incentive for its improvement in the coming period.
The Minister confirmed Serbia’s commitment to improving its partnership with the Gabonese Republic, primarily through improving economic relations.
The meeting noted that there is potential for improving cooperation in the field of agriculture, by encouraging trade in agricultural and food products between the two countries, as well as in the fields of construction, electrical industry, pharmaceutical and chemical industries, and culture, with a focus on cooperation between related institutions, protection of cultural heritage and exchange in the field of contemporary creativity.
