Minister of Information and Telecommunications Dejan Ristić held a series of meetings with numerous diplomats in recent days, providing a strong impetus to the continued development of international cooperation in areas in the ministry’s purview.
Ristić met with Ambassador of Israel to Serbia Avivit Bar-Ilan, Ambassador of Croatia Hidajet Biščević, Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina Aleksandar Vranješ, Ambassador of Lebanon Nada Al Akl and Ambassador of Pakistan Ali Haider Altaf.
Additionally, the Minister held talks with Ambassador of Germany Anke Konrad, Iranian Chargé d’Affaires Manouchehr Rezaei Zivlaei, Ambassador of Serbia to Iran Damir Kovačević and Ambassador of Serbia to Croatia Jelena Milić.
The signing of interstate agreements on cooperation between the Ministry of Information and Telecommunications and the line ministries of Iran, Lebanon and Pakistan was initiated during the talks.
The Minister also extended invitations to Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, National Heritage and Culture of Pakistan Attaullah Tarar, Minister of Information of Lebanon Ziad Makary and the line minister of Iran to visit Serbia.
It was agreed to maintain continuous communication with the aim of implementing the agreements reached and further developing the areas of public information and telecommunications.
