Minister of Science, Technological Development and Innovation Jelena Begović attended today, together with Ambassador of Canada in Belgrade Michelle Cameron, the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Canada’s ventureLAB and science and technology parks from Serbia.

Serbia is becoming a centre for the advancement of IT technologies, Begović said, pointing out that Canada is a good partner that can prepare Serbian start-ups for a demanding and developed market.
Cameron noted that the signing of the Memorandum marks the beginning of intensive cooperation between Serbia and Canada, which will take place at the academic, intergovernmental and business levels.
The signed document aims to establish cooperation between science and technology parks from Serbia and the Canadian innovation hub ventureLAB in the field of technological development, innovation and support for start-ups.
