Minister of Economy Adrijana Mesarović today visited the Shanghai headquarters of automotive supplier Yanfeng, which has been successfully operating in Serbia for years and employs 2,400 workers in the country.

Mesarović said that she had invited the company’s representatives to visit Serbia to continue talks on further investment.
The company’s operations in Serbia have contributed to its growth on the European market, she said, adding that she expects Yanfeng will decide on new investments to continue that trend, as Serbia continues to fight for new investments and jobs.
Yanfeng manufactures seats and equipment for world-renowned automotive brands, such as Tesla. Goods produced in Serbia are exported to Europe, South Africa and North America.
